Alison Krauss, born in Decatur, Illinois on 23 July 1971 is a popular and rich Country Singer. LeAnn Kymes and Alison Kruss were two of the youngest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss - born on July 23, 1971, is an American country and bluegrass singer. As a teenager, she began her journey into the music scene, having won local contests at the age of 10 old and recording her first album when she was 14 years. She was signed in 1985 with Rounder Records. Her first solo album was released in 1987. In 1989, she was invited to join Alison Krauss & Union Station with whom she performs.
