Simone Biles

Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.), was considered as one of sport's best athletes. At the 2016 Olympics at Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at a single Games and was also the first gymnast to win three consecutive World All-around championships (2013-15). Biles is a native of Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) took them in as adoptees. They grew in the Houston metropolitan area. Simone's fascination with gymnastics started when she was just six years old after a visit with her day care group to Bannon Gymnastix. Simone remained in the hands of Aimee Borman as coach until the year 2011. Biles was awarded a gold medal in the floor and bronze in vault at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010 before breaking into the top level of competition in the year 2011. Two years after that Biles had a dominating performance in the sport. Biles stood out because of her unstoppable performance enthusiasm and level of difficulty that she included throughout each competition--vault bars that were uneven as well as balance beams and ground exercises.
