Kari Sam Wuhrer born April 28, 1968 is an American actor and singer. Wuhrer began her acting career when she was in her teens. Her most well-known role was as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders and also for her role as the character Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. She is the youngest of three siblings. While she was a kid She sang in clubs and went out to perform. From the Wooster school at the age of 13 and began to study acting. Then, at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, Marymount Manhattan College at Columbia University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, with the renowned professor Uta Hagen. Wuhrer was a student. Her birthplace was in Brookfield Connecticut on the 28th of April her birthplace, she was raised there. Kari began acting at the Wooster School aged thirteen, and went on to study drama in the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Columbia University Marymount Manhattan College and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art under renowned Uta Hagen. Kari began acting when she was aged a teenager. Her first break on television was 1987 MTV's Remote Control.
